• You have a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in music) OR life-experience teaching and being a talented musician
• You have at least one year of professional teaching experience
• You are flexible and can adapt your teaching methods to different music and learning styles
• You are able to connect with a variety of ages or are open to learning how to stretch your skills
• You have strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; and you respond to requests and communication in a timely manner
• You have experience performing and are comfortable in front of an audience
• You are eager to participate in student concerts/recitals, external events and faculty showcases
• You are interested in the possibility of coaching groups of young musicians in an ensemble or band setting in preparation for live performances throughout the year
