Students walk into our music schools in Massachusetts and New Hampshire to a safe environment where they can experience music in a more exciting way while also engaging with other students in a vibrant musical community you won’t find anywhere else.

Every student is unique – and we celebrate those differences. Here at Real School, we invite students of all ages and experience levels to learn, connect, and grow in a creative space that feels like home. Within our walls, students are encouraged by staff and fellow students to be themselves and pursue their dreams whether they are looking to increase musical skills, star in a musical onstage, or perform epic concerts as part of a band.

Speaking of celebrating, we love to show off our students’ talents, growth, and personalities. We regularly host student showcases for our lesson and ensemble students where they get to perform onstage for friends and family which they absolutely love. Our Musical Theatre productions take place throughout the year with multiple performances of each show for an audience of loved ones. We may be kind of biased, but watching our students showcase what they can do and what they love is one of the best parts of Real School.

Our local communities are very important to us. We regularly take part in local events where our students perform and our instructors connect with our neighbors to share their love for music one-on-one. Real School is open to everyone, so we invite you to come by any time to take a tour of our schools, meet some of our staff, and even sign up for a free trial lesson for the full Real School experience.

Many of our students have grown up through our programs and returned as instructors, some have gone on to record deals, others to music colleges, and all have continued with their passion for music. And at the end of the day, that’s really what Real School is all about – a lifelong love of music that impacts each student beyond the lesson room and is full of amazing friendships, great accomplishments, and some of the best memories for years to come.
