Ah, summer- the season of sunshine, laughter and endless possibilities for kids. Filling these Summer days with activities that spark joy and learning throughout each week is special and important – and keeping music as part of your Summer plans ticks all those boxes and then some. Summer music programs are like the secret sauce that adds flavor to those sunny days. They’re not just about learning notes and chords; they’re about building friendships, boosting confidence, and unleashing creativity in a way only music can. Our RealJams Academy Summer programs will keep young minds engaged and spirits high.
What is RealJams Academy?
RealJams Academy is Real School’s exclusive Summer Music Experience where students ages 6-20 are immersed in music for one- or two-week programs in bands, audio production, or musical theatre. These programs are designed to help students thrive in their own creativity and learn more about working together as a team while gaining some amazing skills at the same time. While we think RealJams is pretty spectacular ourselves, we think it’s way better for you to hear it from our students and their parents!
RealJams Bands
In our RealJams Band program, students ages 10+ with at least 6 months of lesson experience (yep, that’s all they need!) are partnered together to write, record, and perform their own songs. complete with making a music video and performing on stage in a live concert at the end of the week for friends and family.

RealJams Musical Theatre
Our RealJams Musical Theatre program is perfect for beginners and seasoned performers ages 7-14. Students are immersed in the world of a Broadway JR musical theatre experience to learn about auditioning, acting techniques, choreography, and the top it all off with a performance onstage for their loved ones.

RealJams Audio Production
Our RealJams Audio Production program allows students ages 10+ to step behind the scenes and into the producer’s chair! Students learn the art of creating, recording, mixing, and mastering like the pros through hands-on experience with industry standard tools to create high-quality polished tracks.

RealJams Advanced
Our RealJams Advanced program gives students ages 14-20 the full Recording Artist experience. This invite or audition only program helps students take their musicianship to the next level with a two-week intensive where they will create and record original songs in a professional studio to release a 3-song EP on all major streaming services.
