Vee is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and performer living in Beverly, Massachusetts. As a third-generation music educator, she has taught in several different contexts throughout her career. In 2020, she graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia with a degree in Music Industry, concentrating in Recording Arts and Music Production. She then worked for a music software company before accepting a role as the band director for grades 7-12 in her hometown of Marblehead.
Vee is active in the Boston music scene, recording and performing on guitar, saxophone, and trumpet with countless bands and recording artists. Among these acts are The Femmes, an all women and non-binary party band, Scenes: A Billy Joel Experience, and a Boston-based wedding band called Redline.
After completing her undergraduate degree, Vee has continued to learn and grow as an artist, most notably having studied saxophone with Jeff Coffin of Dave Matthews Band. She believes that learning music should be fun at all times, and that nearly every musical concept can be taught through music that a student already enjoys. Using her experience as a performer and educator, Vee creates memorable, effective, and affirming musical experiences for all of her students.
