Stella Fisher

Instructor, Burlington Assistant Musical Theatre Director

Stella Fisher is a Mezzo Alto who received their BFA in Musical Theater from Kent State University, and they have spent the past 4 years out in Ohio doing shows at their college and regional professional theaters. Some of their performance credits include Bobby Strong in Urinetown, Daughter in Quilters, Tribe/US Sheila in HAIR, Don John in Much Ado About Nothing, and the Ensemble of Something Rotten! They also were the Assistant Music Director on an original musical put on at Kent, and two of the shows in Porthouse Theatre’s 2023 season.

Though they went to school for Musical Theatre, Stella actually grew up in choir. From the time they were a kid they were singing all different musical styles and languages from all over the world. They were a part of many groups throughout their 10+ years in choir, ranging from groups as small as 16-person madrigal and acapella groups to over 500-person international combined choruses. They were a member of the Boston Children’s Chorus for many years, and eventually became the Co-President of their Premier Choir. They travelled the world with BCC performing at some truly incredible venues, such as Royal Albert Hall and the Sydney Opera House.

Stella is also a Real School alumna having taken Voice, Piano, Guitar, and participated in Advanced Ensembles and Real Jams.
