Lydia Popp

Instructor

Lydia Popp has always been enchanted with the voice. She began singing in choir at 5 years old and began studying voice privately at 15. She completed a degree in Music- Vocal Performance at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Her favorite roles include Maria from West Side Story, Cunégonde in Candide, and Christine from the Phantom of the Opera.

Formally trained in classical and musical theater styles, she loves helping students find freedom in their voice with authentic expression. Her foundation in the Italian Bel Canto method inspires a focus on vocal health and beauty of sound.

Through curiosity and connection, she creates a safe space for exploration, discovery, and building confidence. At the core, she hopes to inspire a love of music and singing with a playful attitude in everyone who walks into her studio.

Outside of the studio, Lydia enjoys her work as an intuitive health consultant, herbalist, and certified sound healer. She loves connecting her clients with tools to optimize vitality and harmony within.
