Matt has toured the country as a lead guitarist with several original bands based out of Boston and NYC, including Moniker and solo musician Socrates Cruz, often handling piano and synth duties as well. He started teaching guitar privately soon after, and eventually moved to Manchester, NH, where under the tutelage of Berklee alum George Westbay, Matt began teaching at Ted Herbert’s Music School in 2008. In his free time, Matt enjoys recording and producing original music with other musicians and is forever learning the techniques of Apples’ Logic recording software.

Matt is also the Director of Advanced Ensembles and the Andover Ensemble Coordinator.
