Martin has received private piano instruction for over eight years and has studied voice with Mark Baxter for five years. After earning an associate degree in arts with a focus on piano performance, Martin was signed to a recording contract with an independent record label in the United Kingdom. This involved the recording of three albums and two European tours. He has engaged in numerous live performances and recording projects and has been providing piano and voice lessons for over ten years.

With an interest in the therapeutic value of music, Martin acquired a mental health clinician certificate (CMHC), and a registered nurse (RN) license. He has earned a bachelor of nursing science (BSN) degree from Salem State University and a master of nursing science (MSN) degree from Southern New Hampshire University.

Martin implements recording software for voice students and sheet music composition applications such as Noteflight for piano students. Lessons are individualized to meet the student’s preferences and interests. Components of lessons include sight reading, music theory, composition, and chords. Musical styles include classical, jazz, gospel, rock, alternative rock, indie, and popular genres.
