Eric maintains an active career in the jazz and classical worlds, composing, performing, recording and teaching. A graduate of the Performing Arts School in Louisville, he has worked with Pulitzer-prize winning composers, and legendary jazz teachers Jamey Aebersold, Herb Pomeroy and Charlie Banacos. He has written articles on music, its instruction and performance, using the approach of these masters and the teaching of Mr. Banacos in particular.
Recording credits include jazz quartet and solo piano CDs, and a critically acclaimed CD release with Karyn Levitt (soprano) of Hanns Eisler songs (English translation by Eric Bentley). Eric also maintains an active performing schedule with his own quartet, in collaboration with NYC-based guitarist Peter Seckel. More details are available on his website.
