Job DescriptionHiring: Burlington Front Desk / Sales associate

THE OPPORTUNITY ️

The Real School of Music is the fastest growing music school in New England – and we’re looking for a FRONT DESK SALES ASSOCIATE team member to join our band to provide a friendly face, a welcoming place, and an organized space for our students and instructors. This is a part-time opportunity in Burlington, MA, requiring work Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 5pm – 9pm, Saturday (8:30-6pm), and Sunday 10-2pm. Occasional shift coverage may be needed on additional days if other front desk associates take time off, are out sick, etc.

Our Front Desk team members juggle many hats and are regularly rewarded for their hard work, achievements, and positive influence on our schools. Here’s a peek at some of the things the Front Desk Sales team member will do:

  • Greet your customers like friends and share opportunities for longer lessons, additional programs, etc.
  • Give tours of the school to new students, sharing an overview of our programs, and answering questions as they arise for the best introductory experience to the school
  • Welcome new initiatives from the company to drive the school forward towards our goals as a team
  • Call and follow through with leads by email and phone
  • Learn scheduling software to book and reschedule lessons as well as take payments
  • Process any instructor and student needs for rescheduling, resources, make-up lessons, etc.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the school with proper opening and closing procedures
  • Create a positive atmosphere to make the school a better place

REQUIREMENTS:

➤ 1+ years of sales experience
➤ Excellent customer service skills to connect with current and potential students and families
➤ Strong written and verbal communications skills
➤ Flexibility to embrace change and shift priorities to meet deadlines
➤ Motivation to work independently and collaboratively with teams
➤ Eagerness to learn – ideally having some experience with Google Suite
➤ Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
