Current Student ResourcesADDRESSING COVID-19 IN OUR COMMUNITY

Last updated July 10th, 2024

Below are the steps The Real School of Music will take if issues related to COVID-19 arise in our facility or community. Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the current CDC Guidelines as well as Real School’s process below.

For RealJams Summer Programs, what happens if a student tests positive for COVID-19?

Student tests positive for COVID-19: (per the CDC Updated Guidelines)

If a student has tested positive for COVID, we require the student and/or parent to contact Real School as soon as possible. The student will need to remain absent from their RealJams Summer program for at least 24 hours until symptoms are improving overall, and if a fever was present, it has been gone without use of a fever-reducing medication.

In accordance with the CDC guidelines, when the affected student returns to their RealJams Summer program, they will be required to wear a mask for the remaining days of the program if it is within 5 consecutive days upon their return.

An email will be sent to students/parents of the specific program the affected student is a part of to inform them of this process and the program will continue as planned.
