Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging drum kit lessons tailored to students’ skill levels and musical interests

• Manage classroom environments effectively, ensuring a positive and disciplined atmosphere
• Provide personalized tutoring to support individual student progress and address specific learning needs
• Foster a supportive environment for working with children, early childhood education, and special education students
• Incorporate various teaching methods, including lesson planning that integrates theory, technique, and performance skills
• Organize student performances and assist with rehearsals to build confidence and stage presence

Qualifications

• Proven experience in teaching drum kit or percussion instruments with a focus on curriculum development and lesson planning
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to motivate students of all ages
• Experience working with children, early childhood education, or special education is highly desirable
• Knowledge of diverse musical styles and ability to adapt lessons accordingly
