His recital work earned the Performance Certificate for Exceptional Recital Work from Indiana University.

As a teacher, his focus is on the care and habilitation of the voice and his students have been accepted to universities such as the Butler School of Music in Austin TX and Berklee College of Music in Boston MA. With a background in the study of Vocology, he believes focus of singing should be on the enjoyment of the music, and that no matter where a singer is on their journey, singing for the first time or preparing for international competition, everyone has a voice to share.
