Friday, 3/12, 7-9P -Nihility -  is an alternative rock band based in Burlington and Tewksbury.  Free for members, $3 for non-members.  Buy your tickets here.

Saturday, 3/13, 7-9P - Lucky 13 - 3 Women - 3 Lives - 13 Stories. Fans from across the northeast have agreed, this trio features some of the strongest and most talented female vocalists the acoustic scene has to offer! Opening for Lucky 13 will be Michelle Lewis.  Michelle is an an energetic singer/songwriter that has been exciting audiences from coast to coast.   $15 for non-members, $8 for members.  Buy your tickets here.

Tuesday, 3/16, 7-8P - Songwriting workshop with Trevor Lewington and Brian Buchanan of Enter the Haggis.  This workshop should not be missed by anyone who writes or wants to write music. Free for members, $6 for non-members

Sunday, 3/21, 4-6:30P - Open Mic Night - Play your music on the state-of-the-art Real Room stage. The Real School of Music in Burlington hosts an Open Mic Series the third Sunday of each month.The school's Real Room stage is equipped with a keyboard, lights, and sound. Performers of all ages are invited to showcase their talents and bring along family and friends for an afternoon of music. Every month we will spotlight one up and coming artist who will come up and play a few of their songs.  This month's artist is: Greg Allison. Admission is Free. Open to the public.

Friday, 3/26, 7-9P - Guggenheim GrottoOver the past three years Mick Lynch and Kevin May of pop/folk act The Guggenheim Grotto have touched U.S. and U.K. audiences in a way the duo couldn’t have imagined. From setting out as Dublin songwriter circuit regulars alongside artists like Damien Rice and Glen Hansard, to building a devoted cult following in the U.S. with warm embraces from media and competitive iTunes charting, the band has captivated audiences and tastemakers on both sides of the pond.  $8 members, $15 non-members buy your tickets here.

Saturday, 3/27, 3-7P - Chick Singer Night at Johnny D's in Davis Square, Somerville, MA.  This All Ages event is hosted by Real School's Vykki Vox and Jennifer Truesdale.  This is an all ages event and proceeds go to benefit music programs in area public schools. This is the 6th anniversary of the event and includes some of the areas best female vocalists.

Friday, 4/2, 7-9P - Britt Sawdon has been singing since the age of 2 but is finally getting her own music out there. More new music coming soon and a full-length original album to come very soon -- please check back and say hello, or come out to hear her play in the The Real Room! $5 members, $10 non members

Saturday, 4/9, 7-9P - Relay for Life Benefit - This is a double digit band extravaganza all for the good of the American Cancer society.  The Band list includes: Undertow, The Manhattan Project, At Ease, Eric Leva, Jennifer Gregorio, Have you heard of these Guys, Men who wear hats, Katie Campbell & Carolyn Kelly, Shane Ryan, Zaven Ovian, Joe Magliozzi, and probably a few more.  $5 for all.

Friday, 4/16, 7-9P - Alchemy - is an alternative rock band based out of Burlington, MA. The group includes Real School Member John Hesson on guitar & vocals, Jake Fahey on drums, and Tim McLaughlin on bass. Hesson, who also regularly performs as a solo artist has written much of the original material that Alchemy will perform on Friday. Group influences also include The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Oasis, and Nirvana.  Free for Members, $3 for non-members

Saturday, 4/24, 8-11P - Los Sugar Kings are throwing a big cuban fiesta at Real School.  Featuring Real school's own Patino Vazquez, Los Sugar Kings is Boston's premier Cuban Son, Salsa, Merengue Rumba Flamenca, Funk, Jazz, Soul, Rock & Roll Fusion Band.  We will feature a cash bar and dance floor. Come ready to have a great time! $8 members, $15 non-members

Friday, 4/30, 7-9P - Greg Hawkes is the legendary keyboard player from The Cars.  We are lucky enough to have him performing at the Real Room.  Greg will play two sets.  He will open with an acoustic Ukulele set and will then be joined by to finish with an electric Cars set.  $8 members, $15 non-members

Saturday, 5/15, 7-9P - Miss Ellaneous - formerly "For the Love of Music" featuring Real School's own Kristin Bythewood.  What happens when two friends from college join a local choir, meet a woman with an incredible voice and the three of them spend their time in the back row giggling during rehearsal?? You form a GIRL GROUP!! Whether it be country, bluegrass or pop, Annie, Kristin and Kim got together for the love of music! These are three women and a band that should not be missed.  $5 for non-members, $3 for members.  Buy your tickets here.
