Thursday, July 1st, 6:00-7:00 and 7:00-8:00 - Student Showcases - Open to Public - Free

Thursday, July 1st, 7:00 - 11:00 - Student Showcase at Johnny D's in Davis Square Somerville, featuring a closing set by the legendary Greg Hawkes of the Cars playing a full Cars set with Real School faculty, friends and select student.  $5 admission and proceeds go to help fund public school music education.  Other performers will include Real School student singer/songwriters, Select groups from our Realbands ensemble program, and gigging bands that are related the Real School including Leo Fama and The Flying Carpets.

Thursday, July 1st, 7:00 - 9:00 - Undertow and Auspicious Event play Real School's "Rock the Park" concert series.  The Burlington Recreation Department and The Real School of Music have teamed up to provide the community with a unique summer music series. Each Thursday through August 5th, a Real School and Burlington based band will be hitting the stage on Burlington's town common. Admission is Free.

Sunday, July 18, 4:00 - 6:30  - Open Mic with Real School faculty Vykki Vox & Erik Ringstad. Soloists and bands are welcome to come down and perform. We will have a sign-up list at the door and we will take everyone in the order that they sign up.  Full back line and PA is provided.  Every month we feature one artist that will play 2 or 3 songs.   Open to Public - Free

Friday, July 23, 7:00-9:00 - Leo Fama and Neglected Lawnmower will rock the house in the Real Room.  These two bands came in #1 and #2 in the Winchester Battle of the Bands.  Come on out to see the two bands that outplayed at least a dozen others.  $3 for non-members, free for members. Friday, August 6th, 7:00-9:00 - "Come to SYNCHRONICITY. A night of Metal Music with local bands including New Hampshire's "Excrecor" as headliner, Marlborough's  "This Beast" and Lexington's "Aversion" to open things up.  Anyone who appreciates Metal should attend this show for a full dose of metal." $3 for non-members, free for members.
